28-17 midway thru the 4th quarter, and Michigan blows it...cannot finish off a mediocre team. Add to that the refs ineptitude, or complete disregard for the NCAA rules and I lose.
Oh well there is always tomorrow. Do not know if there is a tomorrow for Coach Carr at Michigan....time will tell.
However, when Mike Tirico starts calling out the officials on a National Primetime broadcast, well there is something to that. For a real professional like Tirico to call out the officials multiple times takes some doing. The officials missing calls, and then forcing Carr to use TO's to get booth reviews is simply pathetic, and then that classic line when the ball was spotted with 30 secs to play...."What are they waiting for?" Amazing.
Would not have changed the play, but the officials were an embarrassment tonight.
Maybe the NCAA will assign that crew to the USC/Texas game.
